Stacy Jagger is a singer, songwriter, speaker, teacher and mompreneuer. A native Nashvillian, Stacy has worked as a dance teacher and vocal coach for over a decade, and she now has a precious little girl of her own. Stacy has a Bachelor of Music degree from Belmont University, and has created her own early childhood music curriculum. Because of the positive response to Music with Mommie™, she is expanding her classes throughout Nashville and the surrounding areas. Stacy PhillipsStacy Phillips
Teacher in Franklin, on maternity leave

Stacy Phillips is a singer, songwriter, producer, teacher, and mother. Stacy earned a B.M. in Songwriting and Performance from Berklee College of Music. Prior to motherhood, Stacy taught voice privately for eight years as well as middle school music. Before her days at Berklee, Stacy attended the Florida State University as a BFA Music Theatre student and spent years working as a music theatre actress. KC HopkinsKC Hopkins
Administrative Assistant

KC Hopkins is a proud mother of three and a 14 year music theater veteran. Her stage credits include lead roles in South Pacific, The Fantastiks, Cinderella, and The Sound of Music. She is a Louisiana native and attended both LSU and Centenary College. KC believes wholeheartedly in the mission of Music with Mommie™, and is excited to use her talents and love of children in an educational setting.

Director/Teacher in Murfreesboro and Smyrna

Stephanie Jones graduated with a Masters of Art in Teaching in Music Education from Indiana University. As a soloist with the Indiana University Opera and The African American Choral Ensemble, Stephanie enjoyed performing the role of Gretel in the opera Hansel and Gretel, as well as Mendelssohn’s Elijah at Carnegie Hall under the direction of world renowned baritone Sherill Milnes.

As a former music educator in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County Schools, Stephanie is now a full-time mom, and a member of the award-winning TuneTown Show Chorus, where she continues her music education. Stephanie is excited to share her love of music as the Music with Mommie Murfreesboro Director, as well as continuing in her private voice and piano studio.

Director/Teacher in Columbia and Pulaski

Kara Burns is a true lover of music, children and animals! Mommy of Isabelle, age two, Kara and her husband live on a 48 acre farm, along with four horses, three dogs and two cats. Kara graduated from Columbia State Community College, and has worked with countless families and their pets as a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician at Spring Hill Veterinary Clinic for seven years. Kara trained vocally with Margie Yankeelov (Belmont University), and has enjoyed performing as a songwriter at numerous local events, including a benefit concert for Habitat for Humanity. In addition to her Music with Mommie teaching certificate, Kara is a member of the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association and is in process of certifying as an early childhood music specialist.

Elizabeth Ellis
Director/Teacher in Bellevue and Hendersonville

Elizabeth Ellis comes to Music with Mommie with a wide range of music instruction, performance, and therapy experience. She holds a Masters Degree of Science in Human Services, which has given her the opportunity to integrate music into crisis intervention therapies with children and families. Elizabeth has performed in several musicals and has been an active pianist and vocalist throughout her education. She currently teaches private voice and piano lessons and coaches local youth choruses. She is an active singer in an all women’s singing organization, Sweet Adelines International. She is the proud mother of Jacob and Amberlee and looks forward to sharing the harmonies of music with others through Music with Mommie.

Debbie Ogilvie
Director/Birthday Parties

Debbie has been conducting children’s workshops and birthday parties for the past two years with Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop. Because of her love of music and singing, she always incorporates songs and music into her preschool workshops. The fun and enjoyment she found in singing with preschoolers led her to seek out Music with Mommie. She is excited to add Music with Mommie Birthday Parties to her party offerings.

Debbie lives in Franklin with her husband and two daughters. She is a graduate of Milligan College and is a work at home mom. She has performed in church and community musicals, as well as a church trio. She volunteers at her church with children’s dramas, volunteers at the Brentwood Library during their Preschool Storytime, and works as a preschool teacher at Fellowship Bible Church.

    Come join the fun with "Stacy Jagger and The Music with Mommie™ Jug Band!" A heel-tappin' interactive musical show, featuring two hip mommies singing with acoustic guitars, one fantastic fiddle/mandolin/dobro player, a kazoo/jug/washboard playin' momma with hands-on instrument play, dance, storytelling, and more.     Book a "Music with Mommie" birthday party and make your child's birthday one they will never forget. "Music with Mommie" will come to you for a 45 minute class full of fun, singing, and instruments. Your child will be the star of the class for a day!
